Grass is cool, lose the dude. replace him with a donkey, or a hotrod, or a nude babe. |

Interesting concept: that green grass, when viewed closeup with bright sunshine shining through it, looks neon. Bad background. Could have been more summery or interesting: BBQ, baby, bug, kitty cat. |

This isn't really much of a composition. So much blurry foreground is rarely a good idea unless it frames a very interesting subject in an interesting way. This blur takes up have the picture plane and the guy is pretty mundane subject matter to anyone who doesn't know him. The modern apartment building behind him doesn't help things. The green of the grass makes for a pretty tenuous connection to the challenge. I would say it shows potential that you tried to create a frame with the foreground--it just doesn't work in this case. |

Snatch the pebble from my hand, Grasshopper. Hey, Grasshopper? quit taking a leak and try and snatch the pebble! |

I did not feel that only a neon lamp from a shop window would do in this challenge, but if you wanted to find some neon colours elsewhere, you could have played with levels to make this pic scream. the person brings nothing into the pic, and could be better positioned (rule of thirds would go with this pic) |
