 The Royal Dutch Shell refinery at Bukom Island in Singapore processes 500,000 barrels a day. Starting on 28Sep and continuing through 29Sep there was a fire there. I can see the refinery from near my house so headed down there with camera and tripod to get a picture of it. The fire you can actually see is a flare and is a normal occurrence, the dark smoke in the background is not. The original was very yellow due to the fire and smoke so decided to process this to blue duotone.

Wow, that is dramatic! Nice in blue, but I can't help wondering what those flames really look like.
