This kind of saturations and contrast boosts give sometimes great results. I'm not sure here. I'll come back ater to this one.

awesome textures and contrasts of textures - great urban feel.
love the chaotic feel of the angle. the fern struggling to hold onto life in the crevice of the city.

Great idea, but you could have improved by desaturating the background ( bricks and surroundings) to get the green color come out nicely. |

The tilted composition helps the viewer relate to the plant - I feel a pit like I'm haging in the corner of a wall. I like the high contract and deep saturation. The green of your plant stands out well even in the busy background, and the contrast between the natural and the manmade is is drawn nicey with the diagonal line in the middle of the photo. The cap of the water pipe balances the plant - fitting and ironic, since the plant needs water but wont get it from there! |

Wow. Lots of contrast here, and it works really well. The pic has a real "gritty" feel to it. Great job ~8 |

The post processing looks a bit much and imo doesn't go with a picture that portrays botany which should be more of a representative type shot rather than the artistiic one you went for. Same goes for the angle which you've cropped this shot in. |
