I think people are scoring this one high on purpose just so it will end up on my profile page ;)

I had a hard time thinking of anything for this challenge. Once I made the decision to make a complete fool of myself the ideas started flowing. I remembered seeing this house on one of my friends facebook pages, I emailed her and asked her where it was. As luck would have it was not too far away from my home. I threw together a wacky outfit, including an old prom dress and knee high socks bought from walmart especially for the occasion. My original idea was to use an umbrella but I had gotten balloons for a birthday party that week and thought I would try it with both. I only got to try it with the balloons since my dog Lu Lu was not cooperating and I was lucky to get any shots at all. I was really nervous because I had no idea how populated the neighborhood would be and I could just imagine a whole crowd of people watching while I made a spectacle of myself. Luckily it was at the edge of the neighborhood at the very end of a street across from a park so there were not that many people around. It is actually the show house for the contractor and no one lives there. They call it the "Up" house after the movie. The inside is decorated just like the movie as well with it is actually really cool to walk through.

I took this the night of the challenge deadline and had to rush home and edit these. I really only had minutes to spare before getting this finished up and entered. I'm glad I did, sort of, I guess I should make a fool of myself more often, every time I do I seem to get a good score.

Just read your write up, wow it is the "Up" house, totally wonderful, I love that movie.

Congratulations, and commiserations. Its a great image, very Suessian and as you said slightly embarrassing to have on the profile page, so now have incentivised yourself to get two scores over 7.257 and get it off the profile page. I have been trying to get my embarrassing image off my profile page for years now . I do love the Easter egg pastel processing you did here.

Very bright colors adds interest. Overall I think there is too much shown to the left side of the photo. I would have liked to see the model and the house central to the shot. The side yard doesn't add much content. It looks like a white vignette was added, which is ok but it is a little pronounced.
