I tried to 'tone' down the oversaturation of the flower but it was useless. The flower was a bright newly opened poppy and there was nothing I could do about it without detracting from the whole image.

Dead on the bee, the flower's red is oversaturated. I struggle with getting the colors right on flowers myself. Well done on the capture, getting a bee in flight is not easy.
