 The beach scene in Barcelona was a target rich environment.

I was struck, not by the topless sunbathers, but the number of older topless sunbathers.

A colleague suggested we take a bunch of towels from the hotel and cover up a number of the participants as a public service. ;-)

I do like this image for its story, composition, defiant expression on the older woman's face, and the moment captured.

I expect the shock value to overshadow all that, we'll see.

also, I have no idea why she brought a suitcase to the beach. Maybe she tried to check into a nearby hotel and her room wasn't ready, and she thought, "I'll just go right to the beach then!"

very underrated, like many in the free study. maybe next time just shoot a waterdrop at high speed.
