 This is a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo in flight away from my elevated position. I don’t expect anyone to see that but that does not mean to me that it meets the requirements of an artistic abstract. I wanted to create the feeling of motion and music hence the title of ‘Dancing’.

I’m not expecting a great response to this image but I achieved what I was after (it took a long time and many, many shots as birds don’t do what you want to do to get the right colours) with strong whites, blacks and a dominant colour (green). I really like this only because it is close to what I had envisioned and not because it is a great work of art.
