A lovely setting and the warm fire adds to the mood.
I know still life shots arent your normal type of shot - [robably a few minor tweaks would have helped to get the votes a bit higher:
The table and BG seem to be at a bit of an angle and not straight on to the camera, The white balance is nice and warm - probably done on purpose but maybe nudge it a bit towards a whiter setting, the background looks a little cluttered and distracting.
An even more minor nit pick - most fly fishermen seem to be whiskey drinkers...

Mooi Rian, Ek hou van die warm kleure. Die blad se kleur laat die visstok in die lug sweef. Hehe.

great fishing stories shot, well set up; perhaps this would have worked better as a night interior shot, to give a bit more character and warmth than a full on day shot with an overexposed window. That would have put it over the top for me.

I really like the atmosphere you have created here, but I'm just not sure about the fishing pole. To me, it's not really adding anything to the photo.

Very warm and cozy feel to this, love it, because it's different to the rest. All the best 10.

Lovely warm tones and a solid story telling (magazine like) image. I have a few bottles of Alexanderfontein in my cellar too, bought at the farm. I can see scoring issues for you with your horison appearing unleve due the angled POV l. Must be a South African. Rian? Stephen? Johann? Ammie? Hehe.
