 This is Dee Wallace, the mom in ET. And one of my closest friends. I once told her that to my view, no one had yet captured her personality right, and that I wanted to get a picture of her jumping on the bed. She totally went for it. That's Savannah, her rescued dog, watching mom's antics.

You know, I don't think I would have recognized her now. But wow does she look great! This is such a fun and fabulous shot. There's a lot of joyful energy in it. The love is so infectious that even the dog is smiling. So wonderful!

Fun and nice lighting. And I like the composition with that little window on the back wall. I don't think the dog adds anything to the image, which would probably be stronger without the distraction.
