 This was a fun one I have always wanted to do a Norman Rockwell type image, so the editing was a bit different than I usually do. Thanks to everyone on my team for editing suggestions, it really helped. :) I don't know how it will fare score-wise, but I like it so I hope it does well.

I'd like to introduce my dog Lu Lu, she has never been in any of my challenge entries and on her debut she wins a ribbon, I need to start using her more often. Apparently she does not like banana flavored Popsicles. My first few shots were of my daughter trying to get her to lick her Popsicle. Lu Lu wouldn't go for it. So I switched her to my little girls best friend and cherry must be her flavor because she didn't have any problems stealing a few licks from the red one.

Oh and for those of you worried everyone got new popsicles after the shoot was over. Except Lu Lu, dogs shouldn't have popsicles ;)

When the Norman Rockwell challenge was announced you were the first person I thought of, along with image. I just read you note above....Lol. Great Work!

This details in this shot are perfection. The dog's head tilt, her lick, the flowers, the can for the flowers, the ribbons in the hair, the adorable outfits, the expressions...all of it. You brought this together beautifully.

Norman Rockwell came to my mind even before reading the photo description. You did a great job with all the details and capturing a wonderful moment. Great catch on their expressions and interactions. It's a charming shot. Congratulations on the blue ribbon :)
