The leaves look like this, and are about 3 inches long. I have no clue about what it is. It was a plant that I rescued when it was almost dead and mom tossed it out. It's been fine in my flowers for about two years now. It never bloomed until it was growing in my yard. The bloom is about the size of my thumbnail.
Micro Nikkor 55 f2.8 Ai, on cam flash, reflected off my hand.

I'd guess orchid, too, though I have little experience with them so it would be an uneducated guess ;-) Delicately pretty, whatever it may be.

If the flower is as big as your thumbnail, then the droplets must be tiny. I love the way the magnification shows the juicy texture of within petals.

Maybe some kind of orchidea? Anyway, is a beautiful flower, I love the bright of the water drops.
