A purple flower growing in the patio. Sorry, but I don't know its name, but it attracts an astounding number of bees.

Taken with a Lensbaby Composer. I was surprised that I managed to get the bee in focus!

I and the bee are about to get sucked into that yummy uniquely lensbaby bokeh. great rhythms.

The dof gives this a wonderful abstract feel with your eye meandering around the purple lines of the flowers to wind up at the bee. Lovely!

It's a type of sage, I think. My mother refers to them as "The purple bush from hell" because they become rather overgrown and hard to see around on corners. Love the lensbaby here!

Oh I've got them all over my garden it's a salvia, are the flowers velvety? I love them, and they make great flower arrangements.
