I think you have a really great photo here and I am assuming it is a family member or friend. I want to comment a little on the props used. I think they have a little bit of conflict. It looks like the young man is geared up to go white water rafting or something adventurous like that. And the grin on his face looks like he is tough and rugged. But then you have the shark pool toy which really conflicts and changes the message of the portrait. I hope I wasn't being offensive or anything giving that critique. If you were showing a funny moment or a funny side of the person, then I am missing that and it is my fault.
Other than that I think the color is great and the lighting is good along with the Depth of field used. |
