 A tiny violet in my garden. Actually, it was the only one, but there's one more coming out soon.

Violets are one of my favourites too. Love their little whiskers and vibrant contrast of colours.

We call those pansies where I am from and my mom used to sing me a song about them. Well she also sang a song about violets. but I never realized they were the same thing.

I have these in my garden and look forward to their return every spring. My grandmother had them in hers and called them "Johnny Jump Ups" because once you plant them, they jump up everywhere! Lovely macro with such vibrant colours.

I love these little flowers - they remind me of Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" with the singing flowers. :-D
