Spotted this small side street in Ormskirk that looked like something out of Harry Potter with old cobbles and boxes left out. As I was waiting a pigeon landed in the middle of the street which was promptly followed by the small child who immediately ran after it.

I was going to delete this image but it has grown on me so I will put it in the sink or swim challenge and see how it gets on. I like to think the child is running towards the gent stood outside the Fairy Wing Repair shop as he is Fairy Repairer (Strange imagination, I Know)

Love the action of the ponytails with the wording on the sign. Great.

Hah, if this isn't timfythetoo's entry I think someone needs to let him know about this place! Anyway, nice photo/framing. Now I just wonder what the inside of that shop looks like =).

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: This is a thoroughly charming image with story that benefits from your POV; although we see the girl, we also share what she sees. The slightly blurriness of her hair and some dynamism and we sense her excitement in what the shop has to offer.

Critical stuff: Nothing much

Overall: Very nicely told image.
