It was a beautiful hike above mirror lake in Wyoming. Just before this photo was taken, I had been jogging along the trail, trying to catch up to my group, when I tripped. My tripod snapped, but fortunately I was able to hold my new 60d up during the fall. Whew! Also, the lens held a uv filter and a lens hood, so I was thankful for the extra protection...

I've been to Medicine Bow several times; it is a beautiful area and you have captured a very nice image of it. I am not sure about the square crop as I think it loses some of the vastness and makes the peak of the mountain dead center. (voted earlier)

I like this, but would've loved it better in sepia, but that's just me.

Curious to see the notes on this afterward... I love spending time in the Rawah Wilderness.
Not too sure how I feel about the trees, they do balance things, but seem somewhat matter-of-fact.
