Aperture: f/3.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 30 sec.
Galleries: Landscape, Infrared
Date Uploaded: Aug 28, 2011

This was taken one shot at 30seconds in complete manual mode with a standard Canon Kiss X4(550D/T2i) using a massa 720nm IR Filter at 1:00pm and reduced in size to meet the criteria using photoshop with no other processing.

i'll be happy if people like it.

hehehe thanks... i could have done a little processing but anyway thanks! i would love the upgrade to the 5DMkII but am happy with the results so far..

Thanks for the feedback, the image was of a lower section of one of the Damns here, i have not modified the Camera and everything is setup manually.

I know theres been a discussion here and on other sites of not being able to do these types of pictures without a mod. and i have tried the same settings on a friends Nikon D300 without success, so it would seem that this particular Canon is able to do it, but i cant speak for other models and makes!

I have achieved it with consistent and wonderful results depending on subject matter of course. I could have done some slight processing in photoshop to reduce the whiter area in the middle, but i wanted to display it as it was shot.

Hmmm... Infrared without the channel swapping...
Composition is good although that bright area just below the centre is probably the reason for your title...
