 Onions have been uprooted and are ready to be picked up by an onion harvesting machine.
Post processing includes adjustment of contrast, hue and saturation. The picture was cropped and unsharp mask applied, and reduced in size to meet challenge standards.

I certainly like this unusual photo. I eat onions everyday but have never seen them laid out..

Try it in B/W. The red tractor, barn and that little plastickthing in the field takes to much attention.

I like it alot...great crop leaving the bright green in the lower left gives the shot balance! I can smeel the Onions ...for an extra point !
