 This is a stained glass lampshade taken from the bottom side looking into the shade.

Brought in from RAW and jacked the colors way up, turned up blacks and contrast. Brought into PS and burned the whole image for some more contrast in the blacks. Burned the middle section because it wasn't that sightly.

Not expecting this to do too well of course, given the slight harshness and lack of focus on the outside of the shade. Still, I wanted something in the challenge! Shez takes some beautiful pictures.

HARD to Say WHY I Really LIKE THIS but think it is due to the bright different colors and the way it is centered and in a square format
Just how to make it more SHERPET STYLE I think I would have cropped it to a smaller size leaving out the white corners and havig it fill the frame with the abstract patterned bright colored GLASS. IT WOULD HAVE POPPED and been a STRONGER SHERPET IMAGE... IT STILL IS A VERY GOOD IMAGE No doubt about that.

Chez generally fills the frame in her images. I think this needs some color and texture for a background. The colors and design are very reminiscent of her work.

I'm guessing this is a 3 dimensional lampshade so I think it's very nice that you'd given enough depth of field (nearly!) to make it look 2D, and the viewer can then look at the shapes to work backwards and figure out what it was. Making 2D from 3D - a nice reversal of convention.
