| Thanks for all of the great comments. I was out and about trying to find an open nursery to do some macro and couldn't find any interesting plants to shoot. So as I was headed down the road I saw these oil towers, and I've always wanted a cool shot of them because I really like how powerful and gritty industrial photos can be. So I took a few and really like the way this one turned out. That's the reason I do the DP challenge, as a way to force myself to get off my lazy butt and find things to collect with my camera. |

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME re the GRAPHIC DESIGN STYLE in this DRAMATIC BLACK AND WHITE photo.
The repeated PATTERNS work a treat for my eyes.....
REPETITION ALSO WORKS WELL FOR ME, but most of all THE COMPOSITION and GRAPHIC DESIGN is a BOLD BLACK AND WHITE IMAGE thats a STRONG SHERPET STATEMENT in my eyes.

| Gorgeous image. I love the contrast and the sweeping line of the stairs. Great perspective and rhythm. I wish this had been in the Free Study, because, I don't recognize this as being the sort of image Sherpet would create. It seems too cold, both in subject matter and emotion. |

| It will be interesting to see how the challenge theme factors in, but regardless, I think this is a strong composition. The staircase at left is fantastic! Leads the viewer into the tank farm - well done! |
