This is an excellent photo, but I don't think it fits the challenge because of your point of view... but it's such a good photo, I'm torn. |

Where is the 'vanishing' point, especially in a 100m pool... |

Voted eralier, returning for comments.
of course, they will ask: "Why not shot with the camera facing the swimmers?" However, no penalty here. |

I don't see lines converging. |

Nice capture! Sports are always a challenge. I like thethe pov and you crop selection. My only problem is beyond your control. It's a bit off to have the swimmer in lane 2 hitting the water so early, I'd love to have a nice arch showing on her back. But again, not something you can fix. 7 |

The vanishing point would've worked if you would have taken the picture from a different angle: either more to the right so that the swimmers would create a diagonal or at the front or back of the swimmers so that the dividing lines would converge at the end. |

I'm a pretty liberal voter in terms of interpretation of challenge but this image presents no hint of a vanishing point or even of vaguely converging lines (to me) at all. |

I gave this photo a 3. I think that if you had photoed it at a different angle it would illustrate the concept of a vanishing point better. Both the lanes and the swimmers "vanishing" into the water. Good shot though. |

Nice capture, I love the subtlety of your vanishing point! |

Nice shot before the olympics... |

vanishing point would show another angle, looking parallel to the lines and divers, but great picture. Just not appropriate for the challenge. |

I loved this shot. It spoke to me in quite a few ways. For one, I was a swimmer myself, and this shot brings me back to the ten years I spent swimming competitively. Talk about nostalgia!! Plus, I loved the colors and the feel - I just wish it had been a bit brighter to really show the beauty of the pool and lanelines, not to mention the splashes, but I suppose you can't really control the weather! :)
I don't know if everyone will pick up on the vanishing points that I see - lines on the bottom of the pool, and most importantly, the swimmers' bodies, but I found them! I gave you a 10. Nice job. |

Wow -- great shot! Looks like you snapped it at just the right instant! |

Hmm. A rather untraditional way to show vp - perpeddicular rather than parallel - but it works for me! Great colors and perfect timing. It is amazing the swimmers all have about the same repeating shape. |

To get the "vanishing point" idea, you should have taken the photo from the end of the pool, rather than the side. It's a good shot, but wasted in this challenge. |

This is a great picture, but the drama of the swimmers makes it hard to notice any vanishing point aspect. |

Nicely done shot, but I'm not 100% posotive on it being relevant. Good anyway. |

awesome capture. the vanishing point however is not visible from this angle. 90 degree angle of view rotation to emphasize a parallel convergence of swimmers and each of the swimming lanes should have done it. |

Very nice sports capture, but it really needs the lines running from the POV to the distance to fulfill the challenge properly. |

I don't think it meet the challenge requirements. |

This is a really really good image!! well captured yet I can't see the vanishing point :S |

the vanishing point seems to have vanished. |
