 I know architecture is not the usual subject for Sherpet, but I wanted to take her great use of color and lines and interpret it my own way.

This is the EMP (Experience Music Project) building here in Seattle... very interesting building!

HDR via Adobe CS5, selective color tweaks, sharpen, re-size for web.

Early on in voting and I am really happy with the reaction to this so far... thanks for all the great comments!

...4th place! Not too bad figuring I was not sure how this would fair in the challenge! I'm happy with the score and the great comments, and hope it did Shez proud.

It certainly DID ME PROUD as it SHINES for ME.....SHINES in a METALIC way re the colors, the shapes, and finish, and the lines. THE ABSTRACT QUALITY is a WINNER...WELL DONE..... from shez and THANK YOU

I always LOVED the METALLIC LOOK especially these STRONG ABSTRACT COLORS.....
If THIS HD ben the same STRONG ABSTRACT but CROPPED into a SQUARE FORMAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE BEST SHERPET IMAGES FOR ME HERE..... I Still like the Rectangular FRAME/CROP but feel a SQUARE CROP WOULD HAVE POPPED for me..... Love it.....

Very, very nice take on the challenge. I like this image with the colors, shapes and textures a lot.

Ooh very nice. Hard to work out the sense of scale which adds to the appeal. I'm guessing the panels must be pretty large, but it's pin sharp. Equal top for me.

Edit - I've come back to increase my vote for this one, I really love it and there is absolutely nothing I think it's lacking.
