This is interesting, but I think the composition is a bit off. That leaf on the top left leads my eyes out of the photo, and draws attention from the little berry. I actually think flipping it horizontally, at the very least, would strengthen this photo. Try it!
Nice colours though, and I really like the way the light filters through the ice around the edges of everything. |

| A LOT of ice storms on DPC!! I think I would have liked this better without the yellowish leaf. The dark greens and the red contrast so well together. Lighting is good. DPz |

| I can't seem to get my eyes to focus on any one subject. The pale Holly leaf is clearest to me but still out. Interesting shot. |

| I wish that a bit more of the holy was in focus. As is, the entire right side of the photo is soft focus, and I think that's uninteresting. However, I really like the subject, and I think that the lighting and focus on the subject is good. The angle and framing/cropping is alright as well. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Cool image! Freezing rain might be hard on the plants, but it sure produces some very cool effects. I like how the holly berry is frozen to the leaf. The droplet on the right is a nice feature, too. The other reflections in the ice are also nice features, too. Easy 9! Swash |

| Fantastic!! I love this! First of all, finding holly in the wild is a feat in itself, I think. Second, to find it in this frozen state is another. Technically perfect. |

| I like the christmas feeling in this one. And hte one holly berry showing being the only red to contrast a lot of green works well. |
