Perhaps a little too blurry for me, but the dogs are a nice addition and a like the combination of the lower light and the upper dark part. |

Got a 9 from me. The sense of motion here is wonderful. Motion is abstracted from time.
Should have scored better. But I don't think you mind that too much :-)

Strong vortex feel, less of a passing of time, more of a robbing of time. Scary. Thanks. |

Is that one dog or two? I like the idea and slow shutter approach. |

There's so much movement in a lot of these shots but with this it suits it. 7! |

"the passage thereof" I think is how it's said :-)
I like how everything seems to be curving into the darkness in the bushes (?) on the right without any option. Like the inevitability of age, ageing and death. 9
(I may be wrong about the 'thereof' comment) |

Great dog time, I think. The dynamic you created with a single stroke of your camera equipped hand makes me want to reverse the movement in an attempt to restore the original image this photo is a reminiscent of. I like this as an interpretation of the concept "time". The contrast, as the overall b/w conversion, is masterfully done. |

I've never liked this style of image. It appears a lot on DPC in various guises and maybe shoehorns. There are really only a few togs who do it here :)
It's a brave style as DPC is all about crisp, over-saturated, sharp wine glasses on a mirror or water drops with gelled speedlights (exaggeration but I'm making a point) and images that, as in this case, are deemed to be without a doubt supposed to be unequivocally a "time" piece, i.e. a watch or wall clock...
In THIS instance your "imagery" has touched a nerve with me. Not only have you used a slow s/s but the camera shake has also rotated/zoomed the final shot. The dogs on a leash looking into the black worm hole in the shrubbery. It all blends to make a dreamlike remembrance of a moment, passage, of time.
It's commendable, and whilst I am guessing you're getting hammered by the lemming "it's not a watch" voters, this is the highest mark I've given to this style of work ever. WD and bravo. |

Feels like hunting season... or someone taking their dog out for a walk! |
