Less frame -- more photo. The photo stands out on it's own. It doesn't need the large frame. |

wow! that's really effective - love the shaft of sunlight coming in from the left, and the early morning mistiness of the distance. |

Beautiful! I dont why when everyone thinks of vanishing points the first thing they come up is a railway BUT this is the most original view/composition of a railway I've seen and I love the light and colors as well. Good Job! |

This is the best rail close-up this challenge: you've got the right balance between getting close to emphasise the VP but not letting the grey metal dominate the photo: I like the light/mist details to the top left. Good work. |

finaly, a shot where you can actually see the lines converge together. there have been too many parallel lines that converged only half way. hope you get a ribbon. if not, i will be shocked. good luck, 10 |

I like that you took this pictuer in the morning. Adds the little extra compared to many other railpictures. |

Nice shot but I'm not crazy about the border. Interesting perspective. |

I`ve seen a few of this type of image so far in the challenge..but this one made me stop and look..The light plays a major part in that.. in the way it illuminates the rails and the wooden "sleepers"..the telegraph poles are an added bonus, their silhouette receding into the distance gives the picture added impact.
This is really very good and I hope that voters give it the time and score it deserves....9 |

wonderful. Nice solution to the challenge. Refreshing change. Especially since there are so many RR tracks. |

I was going to say, not *another* railway photo, but this one has a nice mood to it. 7. |

Your border is way overdone. It's a beautiful photo without it. 8 |

Love the lighting. Not your ordinary everyday railroad track photo. Vanishing point clearly displayed. Only thing I don't like is the frame. White doesn't bother me, just the "raised" look. I guess this is a "matte" fame? 9 |

This is a really neat picture. Railroad tracks are a pretty common vanishing point, but you have taken a common theme and made it striking and original with the colors and the lighting. I love it. |
