| To be honest this was quickly setup and shot due to the deadline. I was very limited for space to shoot this as the room was cramped, the idea was to show all the vertical lines meeting together such as the floor, the wallpaper, panelling, the woman, the legs, the seams in the stockings. The hand bag is there to break the vertical lines and to give part of the story of the scene, who is she, is she coming or going, whats is she looking at on the wall... but it only deserved a rating of: 6.0682 |

Why oh why oh WHY is that purse there!!??!?!! Everything else is so perfectly in place, and in keeping with the style/mood, and then that stupid sack just mucking up a perfectly good picture. At the very least it should have been stripped!!!!

| This could easily be a Tanguera shot. Jo's B&W & studio work is showing some serious promise. If not then the compliment still stands. The exposure & contrast is top notch, starting with an interesting arrangement of subjects legs, handbag, side table (crop a bit tight) & wooden floor. Very nice. |

| This works for me because the "stripes" of the floor go along with the wallpaper and her seams. I think removing the table, lamp and that "thing" to the right (looks almost like a folded up comforter) might make it less busy and impactful, but I'm just rambling on. What do I know? |
