Very surprised this didn't do better! Loved the feel, reflections, contrast in colours and mood.

Yes. makes sense ... partially.
Perhaps more shadows over the real trees on the left so that it won't look so visible turned vertical.
The "talking" trees are amazing. |

I am assuming this is a fallen tree with it's reflection in the water. but isn't this a horizontal picture of a horizontal subject that you rotated? The
(vertical) trees in the background aren't the subject so I am not sure if this meets the challenge. |
