 This is the result of a tornado that tore through Lake Burton, destroying or damaging 70+ homes.

Getting this photo entered was a challenge in itself. I do not have my pc with me, but was able to borrow one to download the photo from my camera. Because it did not have any editing software, uploaded it to my workshop folder, then downloaded it to my iPad and used apps to edit the file and then resize it. Then I had to email it back to the borrowed pc (can't submit photos to dpc from the iPad) and then uploaded it. Finally, I updated the submission details from the iPad.

I will be happy if this breaks 5, but I really wanted to see what I could accomplish with iPad.

What a sad commentary. It has good emotion. The shot itself looks slightly and unintentionally out of focus. Good composition using rule of thirds.

Now this portrays destruction and there for abandoned but technically I find this not very good

This scares me! We are hunkered in a hill like this house, I didn't think tornado's would get ya there! Very Moveing, and sad.
