At 40 votes I'm at 6.7750 - very happy with that score.

As far as the picture goes, I woke up at 6:00 A.M. to get the shot. It was still dark while I walked over to the spot. I was alone and happy to see a few cops around the area. But then when I noticed why they were there, I wasn't as happy. It turns out that there was a dead body on beach that morning. So, next to this serene scene - there was quite the turmoil going on.

Love the composition with leading diagonal of the rocks and water/sky unequal and the soft effect... just wish the sky wasn't so washed out
