Taken at Árbær, the museum village in Reykjavík at an exhibition of classic- and vintage cars. This car is an Opel Kapitän from 1956.

I love these mid century cars. Such style! Wish tailfins would make a comeback.

I like the style of the old fashioned lamp with the older car, older clothes, and older house. I feel as if the bright brown/green doesn't add much too the piece. I feel as if the color was changed to a bit more pastel that it would look even more like a 1956 photograph and complement the pastel of the car.

Love the car but would like to see the old gentleman posing with it. I know that may not have been possible. Nice photo.

DNMC. This photo was taken before the challenge was announced, you need to send in the original. About 55 years before, Is the date on your camera set correctly?
