Candid shot on the subway.
OK, so I'm not Cartier-Bresson, and I cropped and rotated a little. On the other hand, I didn't have the advantage of looking through my viewfinder either : )
I thought about burning in the sign over her head to emphasize the parallel with the second passenger's feet, but decided not to. I really like that contrast in subjects, between the "warning" sign along with the one stolidly-sitting passenger, and the non-conformist with her legs crossed.
One RGB Curve. Realized it was a ho-hum shot so I coverted to grayscale with the Cnannel Mixer, which turned her red skirt white, and better isolated the boots. I then used two more curves on the grayscale image to bring out the fishnetting on the stockings and the folds in the skirt, while maintaining detail on the boots/laces. Cloned out two tiny bits of garbage in the background.

Very nice, great street shot!
I didn't vote on this challenge, but this is a great photo which shows the high value of how we dress our feet.

| This is a stunning image!!! What is wrong with our voters - I love the boots and the girl but the addition of the sneakers in tha background makes the shot!! |

| great scene. I like how the woman's face is obscured by the post, forcing the viewer to define her by her footwear. I also like the secondary feet in the background providing fashion contrast to these long heavy boots. good street photography shot. |

| This would have worked better if her face was fully blocked or I was able to see her whol face. That is my only critique on this photo. |
