 I don't know anyone in this picture, but this is a favorite spot of mine. I grew up rafting on this river. And I have lots of fond(or not so fond) memories of falling out of the boat on this very wave. For anyone interested this is a rapid they call "Lunch Counter" because it eats boats for lunch. It is on the South Fork of the Snake river, just a few miles out of Jackson Hole Wyoming.

Great choice for the challenge. Good job on freezing the action. The only thing is that the harsh light was not in your favor. There is too much of blow-out highlights on the water portion.

Great action shot, however could be a bit better composed, and a bit less harsh contrast from the direct sunlight. Maybe a wider crop would have done it.
