Nice gritty urban shot. Good angle and viewpoint. Just the right amount of exposure. |

A very nice image that meets the challenge well. I'm sure many will comment about too much grain, but I personally feel it works well and compliments the gritty subway surroundings. |

I actually like the grain on this one. Did you add it or is it from high ISO in camera? |

I love the grainy feel of this image. It makes me think of 1950s NYC street photography. |

I like grain but I'm sure many won't. Does it add to the original image? |

Meets the challenge. I guess you were going for a grainy look here. The motion you got with the blurred logo didn't extend to the passenger on the train. I gave this a 3. |

Quite a grainy photo but I think it adds to the effect which is what I hope you were going for! A little blurred from movement which I personally don't like - could have been either more or less - but still a nice photo. |

This shot almost looks like a lithograph... I'm glad you didn't get sucked into the 'neat image' pit of dispair and clean this up. The noise makes a fairly mundane image interesting IMHO. |

I like this shot. It would be nicer with less grain. |

and immediately after taking this shot you were wrestled to the ground by an MTA cop... nice gritty feel, i like the lines and the tone. and, thank you for not being too chicken (i am) to take pics in the subway. |

IIn my opinion the noise or stippling detracts from the picture.Did you use it to cover up some other problem, like a blurry image? |

I think this is too grainey, but I like the shot. |

Nice VP, I like the added Grain. It looks like it could be used in an ad on the same train. |

I'm guessing that the grainy touch was intential, however a bit strong. |

I think there will be an arguement about it, but I like the graininess, and the black and white. This also has a good vanishing point. 10 |
