I missed it, too. My favourite English castle ruins. |

Beautiful processing; a little centered perhaps, but quality image all the same. (voted earlier, bumping up) |

Super study, fab light on the castle with a foreboding sky. Horison is off clockwise. |

Giving this a second look and bumping it up. I love the darkness of the sky and how it contrasts with the castle. |

I like the miniature effect... as well as the green natural framing. Only observation is that the castle seems a bit tilted to the right. |

Nice... a fellow local or were you just visiting? Being only ~14 miles away Bodiam Castle's been on my "to-do" list to photo ever since I got a dslr (4 months ago) - but there's a lot to photograph round here so haven't had the time for this one yet =).
Hope it does well, it's a great shot of it. |

Love the natural framing - nice composition! IMO it might have worked really well in B&W, it would have really popped the castle and made the beauty of the textures really stand out. |

I like how the castle and sky are greys/purples with a sense of foreboding, but the reflection is green/yellow and bright. It looks like a juxtaposition of the dark reality of castles with the fairytale version reflected underneath it. I'm interested in learning what type of editing you used. |

great light on the castle, with a dramatic overcast sky, looks like it's just after a storm |

Wow! trying to figure out how you got this wonderful lighting.. Cool photo and the sky sets a Castle mood if there is such a thing. |

Very nicely done. The way the water reflection is just slightly blurred seems to give this more of a magical quality. |

Beautiful! The natural framing with bushes in the foreground is a nice touch. The dark, underexposed foliage and the moody skies add a foreboding to the picture. I would've chopped a little off the left of the pic because it doesn't add anything to the picture and makes it a little off-balance I feel. |

I like how the reeds in the foreground are moving in the breeze - sets the mood very nicely. |

This is nice. With a few small tweaks, I think it would be *very* nice. The horizon feels slightly crooked, like it's rotated a hair clockwise. It might be due to the weight and position of the castle and the trees on either side. Also, the cropping seems a little off. The castle needs to be either more in the center, or more off-center - to my eye it looks to be in a slightly awkward spot. But the lighting and overall feel is great! |
