Well, I hope bspurgeon is not offended. I was totally unsuccessful at emulating his style. He's very good and I stand humbled by the experience.
This image is in my style. It won't score well, but It's what i have. I expect many DNMC votes, as has been my experience recently.

This is the view from Rainbow Curve in RMNP over Horseshoe Park. On the horizon is Longmont and Loveland and Fort Collins, CO. On the extreme horizon, I might be able to see as far as Greeley, CO. This wonderful light followed the dissipation of a severe t-storm late in the afternoon.

| I love the sky. I tried to take a cool landscape today and there were power lines everywhere. Grrr. Nice one. Great tonal range. 7 |

I am mesmerized by this landscape. The ground is almost anthropomorphic - reminds me of a battle scene of the German painter Altdorfer, The Alexander Battle

Therefore, I do not think of it as a picture in the style of Ben but a great picture on its own. |
