 This photo is hard for me to submit because I'm not expecting it to do very well, honestly. I don't have a macro lens, or a high quality lens of any sort, and the lens I do have (for lack of funds to remedy the situation) I really don't like at all. BUT... enough complaining, I'm just going to keep submitting, and use it to document my photographic progress damn it! Lol

This is a southern brown widow. I have them all over my garage (not purposely) and just so happened to catch this lady where she shouldn't have been; on a plant just outside the garage door. Wish I could have gotten a good look at the hourglass on her abdomen, but the markings on her butt are cool none-the-less.

Nice find! Good focus and bokeh! Looks like a brown widow. We've been seeing a lot of these the past few years in central Florida.

This is so soft and delicate, the green is so appealing, and I love how the spider is upside down.
