I agree that it's not really in Ben's style. I didn't shoot this for the challenge and didn't have time for anything else. I happened to be waiting to meet some friends and they got late and I shot a few at the beach. I processed the images and checked the challenges and thought this was the most appropriate one. I wasn't sure, but kept it in.

I only got a chance to study Ben's portfolio much later and I am glad I did. So, maybe in the future, the inspiration will show.

Thank you all and especially Ben.

This is much rougher, and dare I say, much more real than the images I've seen of Ben's girls on the beach. It almost feels like a sports play -- it has that much raw energy. I like it on its own terms.

I like the sense of urgency. Most of his blur is a touch more smooth, but that's just a nit pick. 7
