 This image depicts an ant caring for its pupae. While taking photos of bees and flowers, I noticed a few ants on the leaves out of the corner of my eye. In fact, after I blew on them, several more ants scurried rapidly from under the leaf. Curiously, I decided to take a peek underneath, and I was surprised by what I saw. I was amazed to see the ants tending to and aggressively defending their young. Never before witnessing such interesting wildlife in such close proximity, I was fascinated by the intricate details of these insects, especially the adult’s tongue and the pupae’s appendages.
