The Dromoland School of Falconry in Ireland was so cool. Dave Atkinson is a awesome person. We went out with one of his Falcons and ran into a swarm of flies. So we went back to the cages and he got out his Owls. I only had my lap top to process the image, I sure wish I had my Mac to work the image up. It's been around 7 the whole challenge. Hoping to get into the top 5. If you ever have a chance to have birds of prey land on your hand, take it. It was so fun!....Thanks for the comments & votes!

A bit noisey, but I've been there and this is a great capture... you still managed to pull off a masterful shot. Love the light, tones and color... great stop action on the owl - 7

I love the focus on the owl.. but my eyes went wild trying to find him in all of the other textures.

I need to have him isolated a bit more to relax and enjoy the scene.

Beautiful image! Love the detail. Only comment is that the background is very noisy. A tighter crop would've made the owl stand out so much better!

Super shot, more so because it's a BiF AND it's in focus. Technically difficult even with a multi-shot per second DSLR. You still need to be expecting it, to know it's flight path, to pan, to frame. Publish it now! But only after you fix the typo :)
