your horizon looks off by about a degree or so clockwise

Cool picture, but really cant see how the border adds anything to this image. Detracts from it mightily.

What is this? A refinery? Chemical plant of some kind. I'm oft amused by the use of these images, dark dastardly industry right next to a wetland teaming with healthy wildlife. This doesn't show that exactly, there's only 4 loan waterfowl, but the dark clouds and the ominous structures say "Industrial Disaster Looming". That's the crux of this images success. It is telling a story but leaving the readers imagination to come up with his/her own disaster, revulsion, solution, image. Dangerous stuff if you are only reporting, not suggestively persuading. The image certainly stands out and I believe would easily suit an article about any one of a number of man vs nature angles.

A bit exuberant with the contrast... But a solid capture, which did not need the tweety bird border.

Maybe I'm being influenced by the yellow border (I'm amused to have seen a few in this challenge), but I can absolutely see this as a picture in NG. There's a story here ... probably quite a few of them.
