Photographer’s Note
Taken at a classic car show in Issaquah, Washington, USA … a suburb of Seattle. I love old cars meticulously restored, but have neither the time nor the skill to do it myself. So I go to these shows for a vicarious thrill. I am delighted with how this turned out. It may be a case where my love of the subject blinds me to the flaws of the photo. You dear voters, get to decide.
Looking at the post processing below, it looks like I worked this one over pretty hard. In fact, it was virtually perfect out of the camera. All the edits were designed to give it an old fashioned look with a Sepia tone.

From my email to Langdon ...
"Sadly, you will have to DQ my Sepia II photo. When I returned, the card I thought contained the original was blank, and my recovery attempt shows this wasn’t the card the original was on. I think what happened is that the card containing the original was the one in the camera. I reformatted it before leaving. Shooting over the reformat destroyed any hope of recovery.
"I’m sorry. I’ve shot more than 230 challenges without a DQ. And I shoot commercial work. I am usually meticulous about my workflow. In this case, I made two mistakes: failing to copy from the card to my hard drive; and pointing Bridge at the card when I began editing." |

Very Nice in every regard . . .color, clarity, perspective, and yes, even the border. I like it! |

Really nice photo, good sepia tones. HATE the border, and you might get a few people say that, sorry but it really takes away from the photo. I would have rated this 2 points higher without the border. |
