 Had this shot in mind a couple of weeks ago, when he needed a shave. Saw this contest and convinced him of not shaving for a couple of days.
I used to flash units, with umbrellas, turned down quite low.
One to the side and almost behind, on in front on the opposite side.
Converted to B/W in Lightroom.

He has such emotional and deep eyes. You captured them wonderfully here. The low light is very flattering also. I love how you can see each individual hair and on his face, it's like natural glitter.
