Another waterfall/silky water shot. I'm not sure why, but lately I've been determined to figure out how to score well with a watery landscape. Landscapes have never been my forte. It's weird for me to use an aperture smaller than 2.8!

HUGE thanks to Bear, who helped me pick my entry and who got me to use proper editing software, which made all the difference!

I'm hoping that I will at least be able to be my current average (5.3423), but I admit that I have higher hopes for this one. Will I break a six?

Possible critiques: Too much HDR/tone mapping. Fake-looking. Over-sharpened. Funny highlights on the left side (no idea why it looks like that, but that how it looks even in the RAW file). Nice, but not particularly exciting.

A very nice image... under appreciated, imo.

Beautifully done!

I may or may not be voting, so please do not equate my comment with any score.

I thought this was a nice picture. And I gave it a 6.
I don't see the crop doing a whole bunch for it, though. I think with how the picture is flowing from right to left it might have benefitted from a crop omitting most of the foliage to the left (from about a third of the way from the left). That would give the photo a flowing composition something like this (rotated, of course) which is something I find very pleasing.

It didn't have much else that I could see to warrant giving it more marks, sorry :) Nice shot, as I said. And my views on it are completely personal, so you don't have to agree with me! :D
