Critique Club Critique
(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) â A good photo of a seaside. Good use of 3 elements â grass, rocks & water. Nice diagonal across the frame. Water shows some foaming, hence some motion. However, the content is âaverageâ, hence all the 5âs & 4âs. That is, it doesnât look like you worked at this, or thought a lot about it.
(2) BACKGROUND â The green grass probably is more dominant than you want a background to be.
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL â Good. Everything looks in focus.
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL - Looks a tad âdullâ. Could be brightened up some in post processing.
(5) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO â Good, but not spectacular. I wish you had walked down to the rocks, and shot primarily the rocks and surf. Then you might have gotten a wave washing over a rock â which could have been very good.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this, but I'd have been tempted to tweak the contrast up a bit. (It just looks a little bit washed out.)
