Once the voting started on this challenge I really thought this would do even better than it will eventually end up.

With that said I'm still thrilled with the score I have currently: Votes 126 Score: 6.3571

If the scrubber doesn't do a number on it I should end up with my second highest submission ever which is a good thing. :)

Vote 7 - Score 7.1429

Vote 37 - Score 6.8378

From there I got a pretty steady stream of 6's for the rest of the challenge as it VERY SLOWLY lost more than .5 pts until it started rising a little a few hours before rollover.

I'm very pleased with it and appreciate all the votes! :)

Also, thanks for the great comments and the fave!

Exactly the look and effect I was going for. I wanted something different for the calendar challenge and the first thing that popped into my mind were those black and white period looking shots with a touch of muted color. So I really didn't want the lose the cute pink nose, and the ears balanced it out a little. I was very happy with the results and very glad to know that you like it as well. :)

Classic comp, I love this, I've seen this before somewhere, maybe in a calender, how did you get the cat to lie like that, amazing, everthing about it, Front page for me.

THis works well; but perhaps the warmth of color would have worked better here- its a bit cold. If it is color, perhaps a yellow tabby cat:) good luck.

I love the cool tones of this photo that said I wonder if a summer photo would do better with warm tones, never the less, one of my favorites for the challenge.
