I'm heading back home in a few days for my Dad's funeral service. I was looking through some old photos and came across these from a fishing trip back in 1938. My dad is on the left (dark hair) - he was 6 when this photo was taken. Next to him is his older brother (my Uncle), and his dad (my Grandfather - who I never met) on the far right in the shadows. On the back of the photo are the words "September, 1938".

I've kept some old fishing equipment of my dad's, and the items in this photo came from his old tackle box.

My dad was an avid outdoorsman his entire life, and a wonderful father...I'll miss him.
