 It's a McFarlane Toys' Major League Baseball action figure featuring Todd Helton of the Colorado Rockies.

Helton here is less than 6 inches tall and the ball is a regulation-size baseball.

The hardest part in this shot is keeping the ball between Helton's arms. I kept it in place using duct tape but because of it's weight it kept coming down.

Raw mode. One desk lamp on the left and bounced light off a big letter size white bond paper on the right aiming for Helton's face. I used a green poster board for background and avoided the light sources to hit it directly. Just enough for the green to show but not to overwhelm the background.

Post processing:

adjusted shadow/highlight, levels, colors.
lighting effects used to uneven the lighting.
crop
resize
neat image
usm
border

The lighting on this is great, and the wee figure/model is wonderfully detailed, well done on both counts if you made the model!
