| I don't think this quite meets the challenge, but I am giving a 6 anyway. The photo is great, lighting and expression in particular, and I can alomost convince myself that I have some scale reference from the background. Great use of off screen expectation. |

| forgive me for being dense, but i'm not sure how this meets the challenge. oh, well. i think the young lad could probably be the subject of many, many images. i think they work better when the subject is looking into the picture than off of it. i would also rather see more of the face than just a profile. |

| Looks like a normal kid to me. I guess having him dressed up was the idea here? perhaps if he looked as tho he were working at a desk or something it would be more convincing. |

perhaps a day shot would have been nicer?
the background just seems a bit too boring, especially considering its prominense in the photo, |
