Nice. I really like the color contrast. I think with a deeper dof getting the entire subject sharply in focus would have made this an awesome shot.

that is a very odd flower...I assume that it hasn't opened up yet...would be curious to see the end result (or those are the seeds???)

Nice, tight crop. The frame throws me off because the red in it seems too different to me from the red in the flower.
