 I took some pictures during the weekend, but none of them seemed good to me. This morning, while driving to work, I saw this field with poppies. I love poppies; they reminds me the famous Monet's painting. Unfortunately, I am not Monet; I tried to frame the whole field, but I didn't manage to take a good photo, so, as usual, I focused on one flower only.

Holding back the tears 'cause nothing here has grown. Like the contrast, even though I'm not at all a fan of harsh lighting on such subjects.

Too much bright sunshine on the flower for my taste but nicely composed with the grasses as the backdrop.

such a brilliantly bright day...to me it seems that the sun just drains all the richness out of this picture...and you have such potential with the rich tones
